VCA Graduate Film, “Ruby Tuesday”, screens at the St Kilda Film Festival on Saturday May 20th at 9:30pm in the After Dark session of Australia’s Top 100 Short Films at St Kilda Town Hall.
Leanne Kingwell and John K wrote and recorded “Innocence Dies” upon request from Director Lucy Claire, to be featured in a performance by goth-punk band “Ruby Tuesday” in the opening scene of this dark, disturbing rock n roll short in which two upcoming punk musicians try to sign a record deal with a sociopath. Written and directed by Lucy Claire, “Ruby Tuesday” also includes additional Leanne Kingwell tracks, “Diamond” and “Pain To Kill”.

“Ruby Tuesday” recently made it’s international debut as an international selection for the Fantastic Cinema & Craft Beer Festival in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.
